Subsurface Utility Technician Role

We are seeking dedicated and experienced subsurface utility technicians, **with at least 2 years of relevant experience**, to navigate dynamic work environments. As a vital member of our organization, you will be tasked with identifying and marking underground utilities at various construction sites to avert potential damages.

Region: MD, DC

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize specialized locating equipment to detect underground utilities.
  • Travel to various job locations using company vehicles, aided by maps and GPS technology.
  • Employ laptops for interpreting utility schematics, managing work orders, and documenting project details.
  • Work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and terrains, with the capacity to work up to 60 hours per week during peak periods.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and excavators using designated equipment while adhering to industry safety standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to enter confined spaces and manage heavy manhole covers for utility line identification.
