Position Overview: We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Mechanic to join our team. This role is essential for technicians who have a comprehensive understanding of the electrical and refrigeration systems in commercial heating and cooling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests on electrical components, refrigerant levels, and water flow to guarantee optimal functionality.
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial air conditioning systems, including both air-cooled and water-cooled units, as well as heating equipment such as heat pumps and gas packs.
  • Maintain and repair computer room air conditioning systems, which may include air, water, and glycol-cooled units, along with dry-coolers and pump packages.
  • Utilize various resources, including manufacturer support and technical literature, to effectively diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Order necessary parts and materials from approved vendors to complete repairs independently.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by completing a minimum of 16 hours of continuing education each year.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) HVAC service technician Certification, HVAC Excellence Professional Level Certification, or HVACR Master Certification.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration components at a Journeyman level.
  • Ability to analyze problems, diagnose issues, and communicate findings effectively.

Physical Requirements:

The role necessitates the capability to lift and carry items weighing at least 50 lbs, navigate stairs, work on ladders exceeding 12 feet, bend, crouch, and utilize hands and arms effectively in the execution of trade-related tasks.
