Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various teams as assigned
  • Deliver technical and nursing care to patients utilizing critical thinking
  • Conduct routine clinical tests and procedures, including blood draws and IV catheter placements
  • Communicate effectively with clients, fostering strong relationships through clear explanations and empathy
  • Handle challenging patients for diagnostics and treatments with minimal stress
  • Monitor and recover patients under sedation or anesthesia
  • Calculate and administer medications accurately
  • Ensure proper handling and submission of laboratory samples
  • Maintain precise and current medical records
  • Commit to delivering the highest standard of patient care
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with the entire team
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or in the process of obtaining licensure
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Proficient problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to engage effectively with clients and team members
  • Competence in using computers and managing detailed information
