Role OverviewWe are currently seeking a skilled Project Controls Analyst to contribute to large-scale commercial construction initiatives. This role will involve supporting and executing a range of strategic and operational activities within our client's mixed-use development portfolio, as well as new workplace office projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate existing cost data and generate benchmark insights.
- Provide weekly updates and reports to clients.
- Engage in cost negotiations with contractors.
- Align actual costs with contractual agreements.
- Contribute to value engineering discussions.
- Assist Program Leaders in managing program-level data.
- Ensure compliance with client governance policies.
- Oversee document control processes.
- Verify adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis against historical data.
- Perform in-depth analysis of live data to identify trends and key performance indicators.
- Monitor project performance metrics and manage action plans.
- Prepare written communication materials, including presentations and charts.
- Support the creation of program-level reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers on data management strategies.
- Respond to various data and reporting requests.
- Track cost review and estimate requests submitted by clients.
- Prepare necessary documentation as required by the team.
- At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of cost engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data management and in-depth analysis.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams.
- Experience with client-specific systems is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Passion for construction and analytical work.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
Salary Range: The compensation for this full-time position is between $90K and $120K annually. This range reflects base salary only and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
