Job Title: National Account Executive

A National Account Executive is needed for a leading healthcare company in Charlotte, NC. This role will identify high-profile national account opportunities and secure agreements for both rental and direct sale programs through phone and in-person customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing customer service to support the company's relationship with national account customers.
  • Support the mission and vision of the National Accounts Group through aggressive end-user prospecting and qualifying of potential customers.
  • Build a viable prospect base consisting of end-users with opportunities to wear uniforms or career apparel.
  • Pursue territory saturation of the company brand by building market share with new installations and/or attaining market share by pursuing existing end-user accounts from competitors.
  • Identify ways to grow margin while identifying process/cost improvements for customers.
  • Attain annual quota on the direct sale and rental of new business.
  • Update and maintain an electronic contact management system and provide reports on corporate accounts pursuits.
  • Maintain awareness of the contract status of all Fortune 1,000 Businesses and ongoing contact in the territory.
  • Generate monthly reports on activity level and results.
  • Attend trade shows/training sessions when necessary and coordinate and follow-up selected direct mail and calling programs.
  • Identify local and regional sales opportunities and forward to an appropriate salesperson.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
  • Five to seven years of outside sales business-to-business (B2B) selling experience is required.
  • Industry experience is strongly preferred.
Travel:
  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
Education:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
