Position Summary
The role of the Business Development Manager for Assisted Living is essential in fostering relationships and driving sales for Horizon House. This position is designed for an individual who embodies our core values: Caring, Trust, Stewardship, Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration. As a vital member of the sales team, you will focus on generating leads and enhancing occupancy within our Assisted Living facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust network of referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
- Meet lead generation targets aimed at increasing occupancy rates in Assisted Living.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Horizon House services for seniors, acting as a key resource for referral partners.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying prospects to securing deposits for new residents, while providing regular updates to management.
- Collaborate closely with the Assisted Living Director to facilitate successful external transitions into our community.
- Work alongside the Care Navigator to assist with internal transitions to Assisted Living.
- Utilize CRM tools to monitor and report on business development activities, prospective residents, and performance metrics.
- Engage in community events and B2B presentations to promote brand visibility.
- Perform additional duties as required, consistent with the nature of this sales role.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of successful sales experience in a healthcare-related sector.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Proven ability to effectively plan and achieve project objectives.
- Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A track record of successful sales performance.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with senior individuals.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
