Bilingual Customer Service Specialist

Position Overview:
As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (Spanish/English), you will serve as the primary contact for our Spanish-speaking clientele. Your responsibilities will include addressing inquiries, managing service requests, handling billing questions, and resolving various utility-related concerns. Additionally, you will provide assistance to English-speaking customers as required.
Compensation:
Salary: $18 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM
Education: High School
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming customer calls and emails in both Spanish and English.
- Deliver precise information regarding utility services, billing, and account management.
- Efficiently and professionally resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Process service requests, payments, and updates to customer accounts.
- Assist customers in establishing new utility services and transferring existing ones.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions.
- Collaborate with various departments to address complex issues.
- Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and service offerings.
- Enhance customer experience by demonstrating patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
Essential Functions:
Availability to work weekends is required.
Required Skills:
- Fluency in Spanish (minimum of 6 years of experience required).
- Proficient Telephone Etiquette.
- Active Listening Skills.
- Effective Follow-up Techniques.
- Strong Customer Relations Skills.
- Experience in Customer Support.
- Basic Software Proficiency.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Typing Proficiency.
Qualifications:
- Years of Experience: 2 years.
- Experience Level: Experienced.
