About the Role:

Inizio Engage is expanding its nationwide network of Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists. This position serves as an excellent entry point into the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The team will focus on delivering services to Inizio's esteemed client, Pfizer.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary goal of the Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist is to enhance awareness of high-risk patient populations for COVID-19 through targeted educational initiatives.

This role is part of a Field Contracted Team dedicated to raising awareness among high-risk patients for COVID-19 within urgent care and retail pharmacy environments, as well as with selected healthcare professionals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing educational support to healthcare providers regarding COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options.
- Educating identified targets to ensure preparedness in patient identification.

- Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients through regular communications and ongoing engagement as outlined in the Field Pharmaceutical Educational Contracted Team Statement of Work (SOW).
- Collaborating closely with customer-facing colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts across various channels and field deployments.

- Gaining insights into the customer and market landscape within assigned regions to prioritize opportunities and develop actionable plans aimed at maximizing educational and sales impact locally.

- Working within a collaborative team environment that fosters idea sharing and high levels of cooperation.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Engaging healthcare professionals by addressing inquiries related to drug interactions, supply locations, and identifying high-risk patients eligible for treatment.
- Maintaining expert knowledge of the product, patient education, consumer education, and market dynamics.

- Utilizing only approved promotional materials to support the marketing message.
- Keeping an in-depth understanding of the disease state, market trends, quality programs, health information technology, and other account-specific factors to facilitate meaningful discussions with clients.

- Implementing strategic call plans to exceed objectives for assigned territories.
- Demonstrating territory knowledge through customer analysis, including reviewing past interactions and available data to enhance the effectiveness of each engagement, and customizing educational sales approaches for each target office.

- Collaborating with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities and develop strategies for targeted accounts.

- Guiding retail pharmacy interactions at the local level to further educational initiatives.

- Employing effective interaction techniques, including pre-call planning, focused presentations, and summarizing discussions.

- Tailoring educational sales messages to meet the specific needs of clients and sharing information on approved support resources.

- Completing all call reporting and inventory documentation in accordance with established procedures (as per the SOW).
- Balancing study and certification time during off-hours to acquire necessary medical, product, and policy knowledge, while maintaining supplies, equipment, and records.

- Participating in all required sales conferences and training sessions, whether local or remote.

- Completing all mandatory compliance training within the timelines set by the client.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including:
- Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
- Medical/Medical Device Sales Experience
- Professional Sales or Promotional Activities
- Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service, or Account Management
- Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT)
- Educator roles (e.g., Teacher, Principal)
- Full-time Military experience.
- Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Product knowledge in virology and experience in urgent care settings.
- Ability to foster acceptance of ideas and willingness to travel.
- Valid US driver's license with a driving record compliant with company standards.
- Proficiency in computer/iPad usage.
