Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete cycle of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Generate customer invoices in accordance with company standards.
- Verify and record customer payments, including investigating discrepancies and overdue amounts.
- Process vendor invoices, select payments, and execute payments via check or ACH.
- Engage and communicate effectively with internal accounting teams and external client representatives.
- Compile monthly cash flow and sales reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for customer receipts, vendor payments, and invoices, as well as internal process documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the efficiency of accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Support various projects and functions within the accounting department as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Sage Intacct is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
