Primary Responsibilities

As the leader in our Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) initiatives, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing our strategic approach to sepsis management solutions.

This position requires a visionary leader, an innovative collaborator, and a dedicated mentor with extensive experience in marketing leadership.


Team Leadership and Development:

Guide and support a team of marketing professionals, promoting teamwork and knowledge exchange, instilling a sense of accountability and ownership, and providing strategic direction aligned with our global portfolio.


AMR/AMS Strategy:

Formulate, implement, and continuously enhance a comprehensive strategy that establishes bioMérieux as a frontrunner in tackling AMR and promoting AMS practices within the healthcare sector.


Sepsis Management Solutions:

Lead the marketing and promotion of cutting-edge sepsis management solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to raise awareness and understanding among healthcare professionals.

Strategic Partnerships and Centers of Excellence (COE): Manage strategic partnerships, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices, knowledge sharing, and optimal resource utilization in value-based healthcare solutions.


Lab Consultancy:

Direct the strategy and execution of lab consultancy services, holding full P&L accountability.


Clinical Consultancy:

Oversee the development and implementation of clinical consultancy services for AMS, offering strategic guidance to healthcare institutions aiming to enhance their antimicrobial stewardship programs.


Market Insights:

Leverage market research and data analysis to uncover insights into market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions and positioning.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product development, sales, and clinical teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product capabilities and customer requirements.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, microbiology, laboratory science, or informatics. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in people management and over 10 years in the IVD/medical device industry or equivalent, with a strong focus on marketing and strategic planning.

  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans in the healthcare sector, with a deep understanding of value-based solutions.
  • Healthcare Expertise: Strong background in healthcare solutions, particularly in AMR, AMS, sepsis management, and consultancy services within laboratory settings.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a history of guiding teams to successful outcomes.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: A customer-first mindset with a proven ability to address the needs of healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proficient in using data-driven insights to inform decisions and tailor marketing strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex healthcare concepts to diverse audiences.

Working Conditions:

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.


Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct supervision of approximately 3 employees.
