We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Sales Specialist to join our team in South Houston, TX. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives of our Surgical Pain products, including On-Q and Ambit Pump Pumps.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with Health Care Professionals and business leaders in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics in your assigned geographic territory.
  • Your role requires up to 50% travel, including overnights, to engage with customers and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, therapists, nurses, clinicians, department decision makers, and/or administrators within assigned accounts or markets.
  2. Effectively communicate product benefits and address customer inquiries in an operating room setting.
  3. Closenew sales opportunities and generate new customer leads while actively protecting existing market share.
  4. Collaborate with Regional Manager to develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of demonstrated success in sales, with at least two years in medical sales calling on surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs.
  • At least one year of experience in an operating room setting.
  • Understanding of the hospital/ASC buying process, including GPOs, IDNs, and Distributors.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including fee-for-service, value-based care, and alternative payment methods.
Compensation:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year
