We are seeking a Medical Device Sales Specialist to join our Sales team in the West Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to gain hands-on mentorship with a dynamic group of top medical device salespeople. The ideal candidate should live in Sacramento or the north/east San Francisco Bay Area, enabling them to effectively support the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales and market development activities in designated territories, driving revenue growth and increasing utilization in assigned accounts.
  • Held accountable for growing revenue and increasing the patient pipeline through customer- and patient-focused marketing efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Business Directors and Territory Managers to execute market awareness, utilization activities, and drive revenue within the region and territories.

The Medical Device Sales Specialist will build relationships with physicians and key staff in accounts while establishing the Pulmonx brand in assigned geography. They may also be required to work outside their primary assignments as needed by business conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support Territory Managers in following the Zephyr Valve Sales Process.
  • Provide case coverage as needed in the region.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to identify high-potential referring key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues that impact use of company products.

The Medical Device Sales Specialist will develop quarterly account development plans in collaboration with Territory Managers, strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and articulate the benefits of Zephyr Valves to other healthcare providers and staff to generate patient referrals.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of field sales experience is required.
  • Previous experience interacting with medical staff in clinical and hospital settings is preferred.
  • A dynamic, customer-focused individual with technical-oriented ability and well-developed written and verbal communication skills is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $130K annually, consisting of base pay and variable compensation. An application and resume must be submitted for consideration.
