About the Role:
The Southeast Area On-Grounds Adult Residential Program is in search of a dedicated professional capable of delivering rehabilitative support to individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges within Adult Residential Services. This role emphasizes the establishment of therapeutic and professional connections with clients, while adhering to a trauma-informed and person-centered methodology. The aim is to assist in the formulation and execution of impactful Community Service Plans that align with the clients' personal aspirations. A professional demeanor and performance are paramount at all times. Essential responsibilities include documenting client progress, interventions, and communicating relevant information effectively. By maintaining a Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed environment, we empower individuals to pursue their goals and navigate any obstacles to their advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the creation and execution of personalized Community Service Plans through direct engagement and comprehensive understanding of each client's history.
• Serve as the primary advocate by providing individualized support to clients, assisting them in all aspects of their Community Service Plan.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping to maintain compliance with existing regulations and program protocols.
• Adhere to all medication administration policies to guarantee safe practices for clients.
• Maintain a trauma-informed atmosphere while actively engaging clients in their recovery journey.
• Support clients in developing essential independent living skills, including personal hygiene, cooking, and nutrition through motivational interviewing and counseling techniques.
• Organize and promote meaningful activities, both recreational and educational, to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Assist clients in managing crises by utilizing safety and crisis plans, coordinating interventions as necessary.
• Conduct safety drills and maintain compliance with regulations to ensure client safety.
• Provide thorough communication during shift changes to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss client progress and program developments.
• Educate clients on transportation options to foster independence and provide necessary transportation to appointments.

Qualifications:
• Proven ability to follow instructions and perform basic mathematical tasks.
• Excellent observational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in managing interactions with individuals under emotional distress while maintaining composure.
Special Requirements:
• Certification in Medication Administration Program (MAP) is required within a specified timeframe.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in human services or related fields.
• Familiarity with mental health regulations and practices.
• Experience working with individuals facing serious mental health challenges.
