The Senior Product Manager, Fintech Portfolio Strategy & Planning will primarily focus on shaping the product and business strategy for T-Mobile's Fintech offerings, including an upcoming product launch.

This position will collaborate closely with the Fintech team, internal stakeholders across various T-Mobile divisions, and external partners to facilitate the launch, operation, and expansion of the business.

The ideal candidate will identify opportunities across all business dimensions, including marketing, customer acquisition, product features, and promotional strategies, to achieve and surpass team objectives.

The Senior Product Manager embodies a transformative mindset, strategic thinking, analytical prowess, customer advocacy, respected leadership in execution, and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Every product at T-Mobile is designed and developed to fulfill a specific business objective or achieve targeted results. The Senior Product Manager is ultimately accountable for T-Mobile's internal and external products, platforms, services, and experiences that are crafted to meet defined business goals.

In essence, this role involves pinpointing the intersection of customer challenges, technical feasibility, business objectives, securing funding, and leading a cross-functional team alongside key partners to capitalize on opportunities.

The Senior Product Manager is a versatile professional who leverages deep customer empathy, critical thinking, commercial insight, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities to deliver exceptional and differentiated products that foster growth and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and generate product requirements.
• Resolve specifications and define the long-term strategy for the product.
• Create the product roadmap and support technical delivery from start to finish.
• Define the scope for releases and product increments.
• Collaborate with development, project management, marketing, and other essential team members to establish release schedules.
• Drive go-to-market activities as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent experience in launching and leading new products.
  • Preferred experience in fintech or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify, analyze, and synthesize product usage data to inform decisions.
  • Experience in developing and managing complex business cases and models.
  • Experience in executing large-scale business and technology initiatives.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering and clear, concise writing for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with leadership while fostering collaboration and influence.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in an analytical or technical field.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
