Your Role: We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead a significant multi-year initiative aimed at delivering advanced financial systems from conception to execution. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams across the organization to establish the technical framework and working closely with stakeholders in Tax, Accounting, FinOps, and other departments to define and coordinate project scope, timelines, milestones, and communication strategies.

You will play a key role in influencing organizational priorities, guiding system owners, and directing technical strategies. Your ability to communicate complex trade-off decisions and solutions to senior leadership will be essential in helping them understand the implications of various options. Utilizing your technical expertise, you will drive informed decision-making regarding technical trade-offs and engage deeply with development teams to challenge designs as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the creation of comprehensive project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure technical teams meet customer requirements effectively.
  • Drive alignment and communication of progress across various teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical program management capabilities, demonstrate a collaborative spirit, and maintain a high level of customer focus. You should be a proactive self-starter who excels in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. Exceptional business, technical, and communication skills are essential for working across diverse teams and with business leaders to define and execute large-scale programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects.
  • Experience in managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
