Position Summary:

We are in search of a Senior Vice President of Product Strategy to spearhead the product vision that will accelerate the growth of Freshservice, our rapidly expanding IT service management platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of CIO priorities and IT operations, utilizing AI to enhance our offerings and deliver exceptional value to users and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Direction: Combine customer insights from various channels with expertise in emerging technologies and market dynamics to formulate effective product strategies and a comprehensive multi-year roadmap aimed at driving revenue growth across diverse customer segments.
  • Operational Planning: Create actionable, time-sensitive plans that align team members with product deliverables to meet all milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally distributed team across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Customer-Centric Design: Focus on delivering value and enhancing customer satisfaction, further solidifying Freshworks' reputation for innovation and execution excellence.
  • Team Development: Cultivate and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in establishing product growth strategies and key performance indicators, aligning with senior leadership, and executing plans that drive growth and meet commercial objectives.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of product management leadership experience in similar business applications or product-led SaaS environments, with a minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible leadership roles in the IT domain.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a history of building and guiding high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and business leaders.
  • Go-to-Market Expertise: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, adept at managing teams in an agile environment, and committed to prioritizing customer needs in product development.
