Position OverviewWe are looking for a Vice President of Product Management to spearhead the product strategy aimed at accelerating the growth of Freshservice, our rapidly expanding IT platform.
Freshservice is a cloud-based IT service management platform designed to facilitate modern IT services and experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of CIO priorities and IT operations, utilizing AI to enhance product offerings and deliver exceptional value to end users and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Combine customer insights from various internal and external sources with expertise in emerging technologies and competitive analysis to formulate effective product strategies and a multi-year roadmap that fosters revenue growth across small to large enterprise clients.
Develop actionable, time-sensitive plans that align team members with deliverables to meet all product milestones.
Collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally distributed, cross-functional team across product, engineering, and go-to-market (GTM) teams to achieve business objectives.
Design for customer satisfaction to deliver value promptly, enhancing Freshworks' reputation for innovation, execution, and customer satisfaction.
Team Development:
Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
QualificationsPossess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree.
Proven Success:
Demonstrated capability to establish product growth strategies and related KPIs (such as MRR, CLV, Churn), achieve alignment with senior leadership, and develop and execute plans with clear accountabilities and milestones to drive growth and meet commercial objectives.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of product management leadership experience in similar business applications or product-led SaaS environments, including at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience comparable to this role, particularly in the IT domain. Experience managing a scaled SaaS product with over $250M ARR is preferred.
Leadership Skills:
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing, diverse teams.
Communication:
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with senior management and business leaders.
GTM Acumen:
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to devise effective go-to-market strategies.
Other:
Ability to balance strategic vision with a hands-on approach to detail, adept at managing teams in an agile environment, and committed to prioritizing customer and user needs in product development.
Additional Information
The annual OTE range for this position is $403,000 — $655,000 USD. Compensation is determined by various factors including location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus and equity options may be available.
