Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a Capture Manager, you will play a critical role in securing new business opportunities in the Homeland Security sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Capture Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive capture strategy to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Orchestrate Bid Strategy and Position to Win: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a winning bid strategy and position Leidos for success.
  • Lead Capture Efforts: Lead capture efforts from identification to post-proposal, ensuring a smooth and successful process.
  • Manage Relationships and Solution Development: Foster strong relationships with partners and corporate staff to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Participate in Pipeline Reviews and Proposal Development: Participate in pipeline reviews and proposal development to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct After-Action Reviews: Conduct after-action reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance capture success.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills in writing and presentations.
  • Experience in Capturing Large Business Development Programs: Have experience in capturing large business development programs, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven Success in Federal Contracting: Demonstrate proven success in Federal contracting as a capture manager.
  • Business and Technical Vision: Possess business and technical vision with strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Experience with DHS Components or FBI: Have prior experience with DHS components or FBI.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Possess the ability to work independently and establish solid working relationships.
