Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Administrator to join our team at Boston University Medical Campus. The successful candidate will assist faculty in the preparation and submission of grant applications, manage research budgets, and maintain a database of departmental research support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty in the preparation and submission of grant applications, including budget development and justification.
  • Manage research budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a database of departmental research support, including tracking pending and current grants.
  • Communicate with the Administrative Director of the Department of Surgery, Vice Chair of Research, and Executive Director for Surgical Translational Research regarding faculty research activities.
  • Process and track research-related payables and receivables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
