Job Title: Grants and Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Contracts Manager to join our team at the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL). The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and administrative support to NEIDL Investigators with contract proposals from external funding agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on federal and non-federal contracting regulations, negotiations, and best practices.
  • Share knowledge and empower others to grow and support the NEIDL's mission.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other University offices, such as the Office of General Counsel, Risk Management, and Post Award Financial Operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required with 5-8 years' experience, or 8-10 years' experience in grants/contract management.
  • Maintains knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply sponsor, institutional, and departmental policies.
  • Ability to triage high-volume and complex transactions and support colleagues in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.
Working at NEIDL:

The NEIDL is part of a national network of secure facilities that study infectious diseases. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment with faculty, researchers, and administrators to drive the development of diagnostics, vaccines, and treatments to combat emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
