Job Summary

ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aviation Security Specialist to join our team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. As an Aviation Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of airline passengers and crew members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect airline equipment and check for any unauthorized items.
  • Screen cargo using equipment/method designated by customer and according to customer's specifications.
  • Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding according to customer's specifications.
  • Observe and monitor unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection/validation duties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • New employees required to complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10-year background check (10 year listed; 5 year verified).
  • Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess written and oral communication skills in English.
Working Conditions:
  • Works non-standard work hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of $13.00 per hour.
