Position Overview:
The Aviation Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the upkeep and repair of aircraft to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and preventive maintenance on aircraft, components, and equipment.
  • Assess the airworthiness of aircraft and components in line with established protocols and regulations.
  • Service and inspect aircraft, components, and associated equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and manual movement.
  • Operate and inspect both powered and non-powered ground equipment.
  • Execute structural repairs and conduct inspections to identify and prevent issues.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and input data into the Maintenance Data System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Exhibit behavior consistent with Endeavor Air's Code of Conduct in all business interactions.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.

Additional Duties:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Mechanics license.
  • Preferred professional experience in the aviation maintenance sector.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a focus on customer service.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and obtain a passport within three months of hire; passport costs are the responsibility of the employee.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under company insurance if the position requires the use of company vehicles.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • A uniform is mandatory; Endeavor Air provides a uniform allowance.
  • Safety footwear is required, with costs covered by the employee.
  • Work is conducted at airports, outstations, and various repair material vendors.
  • Interaction with staff and management is necessary.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Physical tasks include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of items not exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Must be capable of using ladders, work stands, lifts, etc., and accessing all areas of the aircraft as required.
  • No medical conditions should prevent certification for aircraft run/taxi of company aircraft and vehicles.
  • Some travel may be necessary.

Minimum Position Pay Range:
USD $30.80/Hr.
