About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Dodge Construction Network. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing and retaining our assigned clients by proactively problem-solving and determining the path to value for each customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and revenue for existing clients, including upselling additional products and services, negotiating contracts, and identifying new opportunities within the account.
  • Develop relationships with existing clients to uncover potential customer dissatisfaction early and overcome objections by reinforcing the value of the products they have purchased from Dodge.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and driving value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Marketing, Product, and Customer Care, to meet the clients' specific needs.
  • Act as a client advocate within the organization, ensuring that client feedback, concerns, and needs are communicated effectively to relevant departments for prompt resolution and product improvements.
  • Provide training and support to clients on using products or services effectively, including product demonstrations, training sessions, and assistance in creating and updating their profile or saved searches.
  • Attain all KPIs designed to improve account retention, including contact rate, upsell, renewal, and retention ratios.
  • Follow SOPs for all account interactions within standard CRM systems and other tools.
  • Ensure that you take advantage of all job, product, and industry-related training opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or combination of equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Proficiency in desktop software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn SaaS products.
  • Basic construction industry knowledge or ability to learn construction industry knowledge.
  • Superior personal integrity and ownership of outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Relationship building and client-centric skills.
  • Ability to coach customers on best practices and uncover pain and solution.
  • Empathetic small business growth mindset to identify meaningful opportunities for customers' benefit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working in a SaaS-based environment.
  • Previous CRM or order management experience.
