Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within the nonprofit sector.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

The Office Manager will provide essential administrative support and serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing the main office operations, including answering phones and greeting visitors.
  2. Managing the agency's general email and directing messages appropriately.
  3. Coordinating with donors for the receipt and organization of donations.
  4. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in common areas.
  5. Managing storage and distribution of office supplies and deliveries.
  6. Communicating effectively with staff regarding office logistics.
  7. Placing orders for office supplies as needed.
  8. Overseeing the agency's phone system and office equipment.
  9. Completing timesheets in a timely manner.
  10. Participating in reflective supervision sessions.
  11. Documenting processes and procedures related to job functions.
  12. Performing additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment

This position requires full-time in-office work, with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks. The role involves frequent interruptions, necessitating strong multitasking abilities and stress management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Office Manager role ranges from $32 to $35 per hour. Benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, generous vacation and sick leave, sabbatical opportunities, and immediate vesting in a 403(b) retirement plan with a matching contribution.
