Job Summary

The LVN Manager position at Telecare Corporation is a critical role in our mental health rehabilitation center. As a member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising assigned positions, providing program planning development, review, and assessment of clinical and administrative activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, critical thinking, and the ability to direct, coordinate, and supervise a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, including medications, as prescribed by the physician.
  • Assigns direct report employees to work with clients based on their individual needs and the skills and strengths of individual team members.
  • Directs staff in the performance of their job duties, trains and coaches staff, evaluates job performance, and oversees the disciplinary process as needed.
  • Participates in the recruitment and selection of new staff members.
  • Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served, provides nursing care, and assists in the welcoming, admissions, and discharge processes.
  • Collects data relevant to the care of members served, develops and implements care plans, and demonstrates knowledge of crisis management and intervention.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure.
  • Current CPR/BLS certificate.
  • Two (2) years of LVN/LPT/LPN experience in a healthcare environment.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience or completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment.
