Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in North Kingstown, RI. As a key member of our Manufacturing Intelligence division, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve product quality.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to various functions within the organization, including Assembly, Part Manufacturing, Calibration, Aftermarket, Packaging, and Product Development. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and calibration procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, environmental sustainability, quality, reliability, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement new or improved calibration processes, including Start-Up, Error Mapping, Verification, and Run-Off.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
  • Train employees on new processes and procedures, and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist the service department with troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, sequence of operations, and time estimates for each operation specification.
  • Analyze existing operating methods and initiate new methods to improve cost, reliability, and quality of products and processes.
  • Support calibration by directing and coordinating calibration processes.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering or A.S. with equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with developing routings and work instructions for calibration processes.
  • Experience in Metrology.
  • Experience in computer programming.
