Position Overview:

The Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) at Northern Trust is seeking a Program Manager to enhance their team. This position entails overseeing extensive enterprise-wide programs that encompass various projects and work streams. The primary objective is to ensure the successful delivery of essential strategic capabilities or regulatory modifications that affect multiple business units. The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of facilitating intricate change initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing the diverse needs of stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate project/program objectives into actionable solutions
  • Effectively communicate to ensure clarity of expectations
  • Oversee and track progress across a portfolio of initiatives
  • Act as a liaison among cross-functional stakeholders
  • Enhance and streamline projects for improved efficiency
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, and escalations
  • Proactively address dependencies and obstacles
  • Establish and monitor deadlines, budgets, and activities
  • Ensure confidentiality of records and reports
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects with precision
  • Deliver high-quality work with minimal revisions
  • Facilitate discussions and drive decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies
  • Relevant expertise in financial risk and compliance
  • Proficient in: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Self-driven and adaptable to evolving circumstances
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager
