Job Summary:

The Restaurant Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be the operations leader of the restaurant, focused on achieving key performance outcomes and supporting the Restaurant General Manager in managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Profitability:

  • Manage inventory costs and maintain inventory by conducting regular inventory inspections and ensuring accurate ordering and receiving procedures.
  • Monitor and control cash handling and security procedures to prevent losses and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance of restaurant facilities and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards, interacting with external vendors as required.

Guest Experience:

  • Motivate and direct team members to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all customers.

Team Development:

  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, driving restaurant performance and growth.

Operations:

  • Direct the restaurant team to achieve efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products, meeting established speed of service guidelines.
  • Ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
