Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Grant Management: Manage grants to support organizational operations and programs. Develop grant budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Prepare grant reports and communicate effectively with grantors. Monitor grant timelines and deadlines.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and collections. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. Prepare and submit payroll.
  • Budget Forecasting and Management: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances. Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgetary compliance and accuracy. Track expenditures and identify opportunities for improvements.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong finance, grant management, bookkeeping, and budgeting background, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of experience in finance, grant management, bookkeeping, and budgeting, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit organization.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, grant regulations, budget management, and audit preparation.
  • Ethical and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
