Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Administrator to support our largest shipyard clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative process to start new careers with various shipyards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the shipyard leased labor vendor process
  • Administer processes following established process maps
  • Perform day-to-day process administration tasks
  • Conduct background interviews with candidates
  • Initiate background checks for candidates
  • Submit rehire checks to third-party vendor management companies when required
  • Submit information into leased labor vendor systems
  • Monitor and manage responses from leased labor vendor systems
  • Communicate offers to candidates and update leased labor vendor systems
  • Schedule physical tests, drug screens, and training per requirements
  • Confirm start dates with candidates and leased labor vendor systems
  • Inventory and collect required PPE for candidates
  • Attend orientations with candidates on their first scheduled day
  • Facilitate resource commitments and allocations
  • Create, analyze, and distribute process reports to leadership
  • Ensure completeness and integrity of information collected for daily operations
  • Align activities to meet KPI measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of experience coordinating a staffing process. You should have examples of your daily organization and an expert level of Microsoft Excel experience. A positive, professional, and helpful attitude is essential for this role, as you will be interacting daily with candidates.
