About the Job

The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the HR functions of our organization. This includes a combination of routine, technical, and administrative work to assist with recruitment, orientation, benefits, licensing, training, employee recognition, and filing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and executing recruiting plans, including job posting and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct pre-employment screening and coordinate scheduling of lab work and fingerprinting as needed.
  • Verify timely licensures and certifications of new employees and incumbents.
  • Assist new employees with completion of new hire paperwork and onboarding.
  • Serve as a resource person and assist in the orientation of new employees.
  • Ensure personnel files and related documents are organized and maintained in an easily retrievable format and conform to audit/review standards.
  • Collect and compile data and information and enter data in the HRIS accurately and timely.
  • Process various HR materials, including confidential forms and records.
  • Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Maintain policy and procedure manuals, employee handbook, and other communications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year experience in HR in a healthcare setting preferred.
