Senior Admissions Advisor

As a Senior Admissions Advisor at American Career College, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students towards a fulfilling career in healthcare. Your expertise will help them navigate the application and enrollment process, ultimately changing not only their lives but also the lives of their patients.

You will be the first point of contact for prospective students, providing them with personalized support and guidance throughout their journey. Your dedication will ensure that they receive the best possible experience, setting them up for success in their chosen field.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high volume of student inquiries and follow-up activities, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Notate conversations with prospective students in our Customer Relationship Management software, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Send targeted marketing materials to prospective students, fostering engagement and interest in our programs.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to meet goals, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist Admissions Advisors with prospective student obstacles, such as childcare, financial problems, transportation needs, and work schedule.
  • Monitor Admissions Advisor telephone activities, providing feedback and coaching for improvement.
  • Strive to secure higher quality assurance evaluation scores than the Admissions Advisors.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of prospective student referral inquiries, responding promptly to all inquiries.
  • Manage conversion rates, such as inquiries to appointments, to meet goals.
  • Assist prospective students with completing enrollment packets, verifying and recording their information.
  • Discuss financial obligations with prospective students, reviewing their Financial Aid outcomes to determine affordability.
  • Address questions and concerns from new students, emphasizing the importance of orientation.
Your Qualifications:
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Experience with data entry and multi-line phone aptitude.
  • Ability to conduct individual or group information sessions and advise students about their educational opportunities.
  • Ability to self-direct, self-pace, multi-task, and function well under pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills.
Education:

Bachelor's degree required.
