Business Development Manager

Position OverviewThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the primary care and ACO sectors. This role involves expanding our network by extending and attracting new PCPs and integrating existing ACOs into our Advanced Management USA line of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare sales, business development, and an understanding of value-based care models. Additionally, the role requires effective management of a business development team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering professional growth within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with new PCPs and ACOs to expand the network.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain high-quality providers and healthcare organizations.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements with new and existing partners.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and market trends.
- Analyze competitor activities and market needs to develop effective strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create outreach and engagement strategies targeting potential partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, ACO administrators, and community leaders.
- Represent Advanced Management USA, LLC at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including progress against targets and market insights.
- Advocate for the adoption of value-based care models, such as ACO REACH, and promote initiatives to address healthcare disparities and improve health equity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure new partners meet health equity and quality standards.
- Lead and manage the business development team, providing clear direction and performance goals.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Coordinate team activities to ensure consistency in outreach and alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and identifying areas for professional development.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including value-based care models like ACO REACH.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing business relationships (B2B).
- Commitment to excellence.
- Strong work ethics and self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CMS programs and knowledge of healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with health equity initiatives and experience working with underserved communities.
- Pay: $100,000+ commensurate with experience and qualifications, Plus commission
