Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Airgas. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling welding products and industrial gases to our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell welding products and industrial gases to customers, including abrasive products, safety equipment, and compressed gases.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers on tools, hardware, materials, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and branch personnel.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and grow existing customer base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with Airgas Product Specialists and VMI Technicians to bring value and added resources to customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years' experience in industrial sales, with a minimum of five years' experience in outside sales.
  • Some experience handling compressed gases is preferred, as well as welding product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications, such as Google G Suite.

  • A competitive salary range of $67,000 to $75,000, with a 30% commission bonus plan.
