Position Overview:

Our organization, a frontrunner in the manufacturing sector, is on the lookout for a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to become a vital part of our finance team.

This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an individual with a robust accounting background eager to enhance our financial operations.

As an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, your role will encompass managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring precision, promptness, and efficiency in our financial transactions.

This position necessitates a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire accounts payable cycle: invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor relations.
  • Manage all facets of accounts receivable: invoice generation, payment collection, customer interactions, and account reconciliation.
  • Compile and present regular reports on the status of AP/AR functions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain financial data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct routine audits of AP/AR activities to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Engage in financial projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in an AP/AR role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, particularly in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, with a sharp eye for detail and the capacity to spot discrepancies in financial data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with both internal teams and external vendors/customers.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently identify and resolve issues.
  • High integrity and reliability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven mindset.
