Human Resources Specialist

AvantGarde, LLC seeks a highly skilled HR Staffing Specialist to support client agencies in Washington, DC, providing comprehensive recruitment and staffing services. Key responsibilities include developing vacancy announcements, rating and ranking candidates, issuing certificates, and providing support for the candidate paneling process.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience providing broad-based support in staffing to a federal agency, with a strong understanding of OPM rules, pay setting, and personnel actions. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or the equivalent combination of relevant technical knowledge, training, and experience.

Key skills and qualifications include:
- 8+ years of experience providing broad-based support in staffing to a federal agency
- Strong understanding of OPM rules, pay setting, and personnel actions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant technical knowledge, training, and experience
- Experience with USA Staffing, Monster Hiring Management, National Finance Center, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Federal OPM staffing and merit promotion rules and regulations
