Business Development Manager

Altius Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team in the Equipment Finance industry. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect daily for new clients and maintain a scheduled calling program to develop selling of Equipment Finance
- Identify and address areas of competition, as well as potential new markets in the assigned area to maximize the volume and earnings of the direct corporate EF portfolio
- Target calling efforts directed towards Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) of privately-owned or publicly-owned companies with revenues of $100MM+
- Structure equipment transactions ranging from $500k to $10MM on average
- Manage existing relationships with middle-market companies and identify and qualify equipment lease and finance transactions
- Work with management to analyze, price and structure transactions, and assist in managing the customer relationship from initial contact to transaction award, credit underwriting and funding
- Minimum of 5+ years successful track record in Business to Business Sales, with a strong understanding of the equipment finance marketplace and proficiency in most aspects of finance
- BA/BS degree with a preferred emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Economics, and proficiency in using Excel, Word, Power Point and Salesforce
- Ability to travel as needed to build relationships and possess an innovative, courageous approach to problem-solving and market analysis
- Highly-skilled and proficient in most aspects of finance
- Excellent understanding of the equipment finance marketplace
- Strong written/oral communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to use the Loan Pricing Model in conjunction with knowledge of transaction pricing for equipment and vehicles
- Confident self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding financial sales
