As a Pest Management Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to engage with various clients in the hospitality sector and other commercial enterprises. By delivering exceptional services and pinpointing effective solutions to pest challenges, you will assist our clients in safeguarding their reputation and fostering their success. Our extensive PAID TRAINING program spans 5 weeks, equipping you with the necessary tools and resources to excel in your role, even if you have no prior experience. Once you are assigned to a stable route, this position provides flexible scheduling and autonomy over the customer accounts you manage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with diverse clients and collaborate with them to identify and address pest control needs
  • Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's product and service offerings, as well as industry trends, to enhance service delivery and sales of pest prevention and elimination solutions
  • Utilize handheld computerized devices to manage service operations and document structural, sanitation, and pest-related issues

Position Overview:

  • This is a field-based role that may involve travel within the surrounding areas.
  • Work schedule includes a combination of daytime and overnight shifts.

During your training, you will be required to travel to Ecolab's Corporate Headquarters for one week. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be covered by Ecolab.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of work or military experience
  • A valid Driver's License is required
  • Ability to work overnight shifts as necessary
  • Willingness to be on call during off-hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to obtain necessary pest certification and/or business licensing as required by local laws
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background checks and drug screenings will be conducted for all candidates receiving job offers
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to wear and use a respirator
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at chest height
  • Work in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp or dusty environments, and extreme temperatures
  • Essential functions include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, using hands and fingers, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing
  • Drive a company vehicle as required to fulfill job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing clients
  • Experience in the pest control industry or route management is preferred
