Position Overview

People Incorporated of Virginia is actively seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Family Engagement Specialist at our Head Start Center in Bristol. This position plays a crucial role in delivering direct educational and support services to families participating in both Home-Based and Center-Based programs.

The responsibilities include:

  • Conducting outreach and recruitment for all available program options.
  • Planning and facilitating monthly group meetings with families.
  • Maintaining an active waitlist for enrollment.
  • Performing regular data entry and managing necessary documentation.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with families or clients, along with strong organizational and time management skills. A Home Visiting Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or an equivalent credential is required, while an Associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
