Patient Scheduling Coordinator

OrthoAlaska LLC is seeking a highly skilled Patient Scheduling Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Advocate, you will collaborate with medical providers and staff to resolve patient questions and concerns quickly, thoroughly, and respectfully.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask effectively, and work proactively for the good of the team. If you are a dedicated and professional individual who is passionate about providing patient-centric service, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls
- Use customer service principles and techniques to handle phone calls calmly and pleasantly
- Register and schedule patients with providers based on company protocol
- Collaborate seamlessly with medical providers and staff to ensure best outcomes for patients
Requirements:
- Six (6) months of customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of customer service experience or six (6) months of medical office experience
- Knowledge of insurance and billing
- Experience with scheduling software or EHR systems
