Job Summary

Think Consulting is seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Financial Operations to join our team. This is a hybrid position working on-site Tuesday-Thursday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the finance and accounting processes of our firm, reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Partner with senior management to identify process improvements and make recommendations for change.
  • Conduct financial analysis and reconciliation to ensure accurate data.
  • Prepare financial reports and books and records for the Broker-Dealer in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial information and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and make strategic recommendations for process modifications.
  • Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Contribute to organizational strategy and provide value-added insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage tax planning and compliance with federal, state, local, and other applicable taxes.
  • Supervise and/or perform financial responsibilities under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
  • Provide expert knowledge of accounting processes and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure financial information and systems are integrated and efficient.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance required; Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Series 27 required.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant broker-dealer experience in Operations and/or Finance.
  • Expert knowledge of broker-dealer operations and regulatory reporting needs.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to synthesize data.
  • Extremely reliable character with discretion.
  • Prior experience in Operations, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, Cash Management, and Treasury.
Compensation

$200,000 - $240,000 plus 10% to 15% annual bonus
