Key Responsibilities
The Executive Vice President (EVP) will serve as the primary leader for Laboratory Operations, overseeing daily functions, strategic development, and business execution. This role includes:
- Directing the operational management of all laboratory services, ensuring high-quality clinical testing and product delivery.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to identify growth avenues and optimize operational efficiencies.
- Implementing comprehensive business strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the laboratory teams.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining the highest quality of service.
The EVP will also play a crucial role in shaping the future of laboratory services by:
- Developing and executing a strategic vision for laboratory operations.
- Identifying and integrating emerging technologies and best practices.
- Leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with broader organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education: A Master's or Doctorate in Medical Technology, Applied Science, or a related field is preferred. An advanced business degree is advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of ten years in laboratory management or blood banking, with significant experience in a leadership role.
Skills: Proven leadership capabilities, strong financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this role.
