Accounting Analyst
The Accounting Analyst will oversee the reconciliation and evaluation of various General Ledger accounts for both domestic and international operations. This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute monthly and annual closings, including account evaluations and entry postings
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts by gathering and balancing financial data
  • Reconcile additional accounts such as prepaids, accruals, payroll, and accounts payable
  • Calculate and file sales tax accurately
  • Facilitate payments for international transactions
  • Address inquiries from external and internal auditors promptly to ensure audits remain on schedule
  • Complete various accounting tasks as required, including support for special projects on an as-needed basis

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial settings
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of basic and intermediate accounting principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate in a virtual team environment using Microsoft Teams
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable using or learning necessary systems:
    • JDE – general ledger/ERP system
  • Ability to handle and safeguard confidential financial information
  • Meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
  • Capability to compile professional and comprehensive accounting reports
  • Ability to analyze data in an objective and impartial manner
  • Experience in cost accounting is advantageous
  • Understanding and respect for Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
