Accounting Analyst
The Accounting Analyst will oversee the reconciliation and examination of various General Ledger accounts for both domestic and international operations. This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate monthly and annual closings, including account analysis and entry postings.
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts by gathering and balancing financial data.
  • Manage the reconciliation of other accounts such as prepaids, accruals, payroll, and accounts payable.
  • Calculate and file sales tax accurately.
  • Coordinate international payment processes.
  • Address inquiries from both external and internal auditors promptly to ensure audit timelines are met.
  • Perform additional accounting duties as required, including support for special projects on an as-needed basis.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial settings.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of fundamental and intermediate accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate in a virtual team environment using Microsoft Teams.
  • Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn necessary systems, including:
    • JDE – general ledger/ERP system.
  • Comfortable managing and safeguarding confidential financial data.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ability to generate comprehensive and professional accounting reports.
  • Capability to analyze information objectively and impartially.
  • Experience in cost accounting is advantageous.
  • Understanding and respect for Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
