Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly renewal strategy meetings to ensure seamless account management.
  • Provide producers with information for updates at renewal, including renewal surveys and applications for existing coverages or those to be recommended.
  • Review client coverages annually to identify potential gaps and recommend needed coverages to producers.
  • Coordinate with assigned Client Analyst to prepare loss summaries with analysis and tentative experience modifications.
  • Assist in firm's cross-selling efforts by pre-qualifying accounts with insurance carriers and compiling submission information in a format conducive to producing best coverage and pricing terms for customers.
  • Prepare Certificate of Insurance masters and cooperate with our Certificate Department in the issuance of all COIs required by clients.
  • Communicate client needs to all other departments, including accounting, claims, reporting, or others as required.
  • Notify manager, producer, and account executive of cancellation, audit, or coverage issues on clients.
  • Keep producers and account executives informed on any important activity of their clients.
  • Coordinate client response on risk control issues.

Requirements:

  • PA Property & Casualty License is a must.
  • College degree preferred, but high school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Professional Designation is a plus.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good listening skills and attention to detail are required, as well as a desire to solve problems.
  • Should have at least 5 years of insurance experience with a good understanding of multi-line commercial insurance contracts and coverages.
  • Should possess some understanding of the negotiation process and have the ability to handle multiple priorities.
