Senior Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled marketing professional to excel in client relations, leadership, and insurance industry expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client service, leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive client service plans for assigned accounts.
- Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem-solving.
- Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure timely, accurate, and professional handling of new and renewal accounts.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage.
- Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients.
- Prepare marketing information for smaller and less complex accounts.
- Implement and manage the implementation process, preparing and delivering applicable forms to clients.
- Formulate a plan with producers to conduct relationship management meetings and/or visits with assigned clients.
- Stay up-to-date on new products and legislative changes through seminars, classes, and carrier meetings.
- Mentor team members to enhance productivity and team morale.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- Appropriate insurance license(s).
- Strong client relation skills, including excellent communication skills and service orientation.
- Ability to utilize leadership skills and motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan.
- No less than 10 days of vacation and 10 sick days during the first year of employment.
- Paid holidays.
- Defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, and/or a deferred compensation plan (dependent on position and division).
