**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Mettler-Toledo. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and expansion of our OEM products and solutions in the North America market.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage post-product launch activities to ensure successful market adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain local segment and application knowledge in Machine- and Equipment, Systems Integrators, and EPC field.
  • Determine new market segments through research and analysis, and facilitate internal knowledge exchange with other organizations and territories.
  • Identify key customers in target segments and develop strategic relationships to drive business growth.
  • Organize and participate in key customer visits, product demonstrations, tradeshows, seminars, and webinars to showcase our products and solutions.
  • Advance select strategic key account relationships through coordinated activities with account managers.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Marketing and Sales or Business Development.
  • BS degree (ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) from an accredited university.
  • Master's degree in B2B Marketing is a plus.
  • Background in MT relevant segments (Food, Chemical, Pharma) is ideal.
  • Strong personal leadership capabilities, networking skills, and ability to motivate people in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex matters in an understandable way.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
