Position Overview:
This role is designed for a remote work environment, and candidates should currently reside in the Kansas City, MO area. The position involves travel of up to 50%.

Your Responsibilities:
As a representative of Abbott and the Abbott Diagnostics Division (ADD), you will:
  • Act as the primary account management contact for customer accounts, focusing on enhancing economic profitability and customer loyalty.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high retention rates.
  • Provide first-line support and technical troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to service specialists as necessary.
  • Oversee order processing, delivery, and billing.
  • Implement and uphold the effectiveness of the quality management system.

  • Net Promoters Score
  • Cost of Service
  • Achievement of Territory Sales Plan
  • Improvement of Account EP Plan
  • First Line Service KPIs

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, preferably in Bio Medical, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Technology, or Commercial fields.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in laboratory instrumentation, field service, or technical support.
  • Experience in providing technical product application and hardware support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks independently and possess negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to customer service and a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Bio Medical or Medical Technician.
