Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Transformational Change Specialist to join our team at Elentic Technology Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide Cerner expertise, support, and knowledge transfer sessions to the National/VISN Councils/local workshops, and VA solution experts.
  • Project Support: Review and help the Solution Management Administrators (SMA) with task orders and deliverables, ensuring they are received on time and completed accurately per program office requirements.
  • Workflow Analysis: Assist in the current state workflow/requirements analysis and future state workflow design and diagrams, identifying potential risks and pain points in the workflows.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in the management, escalation, and resolution of trouble tickets and change requests, as well as reporting requirements/mapping/identification.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in the development of EHRM testing scripts and support all EHRM testing types and EHRM testing events.
  • Risk Management: Review and assist in managing issues and risks with mitigation plans.
  • Collaboration: Work with Cerner and VA in build/design/workflow changes and assist in the review of training manuals and job aids delivered by Cerner.
  • Go-Live Support: Assist and support in designing cutover/go-live planning and post go-live support.

Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of professional work experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Plans, designs, and oversees the deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures, including computer hardware and software, operating systems, middleware, communications hardware and software, and security components.
  • System Integration: Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification of complex information management solutions.
  • Interface Management: Identifies necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments.
  • Business Analysis: Supports all program/project planning and milestone development, business case analysis, and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required, or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Electronic Health Records: Experience implementing Electronic Health Records.
  • Government Experience: Experience with the Department of Veteran's Affairs, Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Software Expertise: Experience with Oracle/Cerner.
