Overview:
This pivotal engineering role provides essential Civil and Geotechnical engineering expertise to support various projects. The specialist will collaborate closely with management, operational teams, and other departments to address a wide range of technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee design, procurement, and construction processes for civil engineering projects.
  • Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Develop budgets and provide updates for capital projects.
  • Assist operational and construction teams in resolving issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate hydrological and hydraulic designs.
  • Analyze geotechnical reports and develop engineering solutions.
  • Review designs and shop drawings prepared by other engineers.
  • Engage in additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, with experience in the design and construction of civil infrastructure.

Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in quantitative analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential. A solid understanding of geology, soil mechanics, and environmental regulations is preferred.

Licenses:
A valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the U.S. are required. Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in the relevant states is preferred.

Working Environment:
The role involves both fieldwork and office tasks, requiring the ability to work outdoors in various conditions. Candidates should be prepared for physical activities associated with construction environments.
